If you’re a fan of Americana music, consider getting in tune with a plucky event that’s coming to town later this week. The 12th Annual Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival takes place September 15 through 17 (Thursday through Saturday) at the Dumplin Valley Farm RV Park in Kodak, TN, which is just off Tennessee Hwy. 66 near Interstate 40.
This year’s lineup features more than a dozen bluegrass music artists, both local and well known, including Rhonda Vincent and The Rage, Monroeville and Daily & Vincent.
A full schedule of bluegrass workshops is planned as well as an extensive arts and crafts showcase. Food vendors will be on hand to tempt your taste buds, and the RV park features a large number of primitive campsite and campsites with water and electric hookups for those wanting to stay on site. A bathhouse and picnic pavilion are available to accommodate guests’ other needs.
If you choose not to stay at the festival itself, enjoy scenic lodgings in the Smokies with all the comforts of home by booking one of our Pigeon Forge rental cabins. We have properties located throughout the area, ensuring that you won’t have far to travel to get to the festival.
