This public golf course in Seymour, Tennessee, is an affordable, convenient option for anyone wanting to play golf in the Smoky Mountains. The 18-hole course has been around since the early 1960s, and its moderately challenging layout features water hazards but no sand bunkers. The four tee positions make the course 6,060 yards at its longest with a part of 70, a rating of 67.3 and a slope rating of 121. The signature hole, number eight, is a 647-yard, par-5 with a dogleg-right fairway and an approach that requires a shot over two bodies of water. The water hazards come into play on seven other holes, including 11, 12, 13 and 14. The fairways are Bermuda and the greens are bent grass.
Golfers may reserve tee times in advance, and the facility includes a putting green and an on-site pro. The green fee is $25, which includes 18 holes of golf and a cart rental.
